| Neetu Talreja, M.D.
Neetu Talreja, M.D. (Dr. T) has a great love of people and is conscientious in her efforts to deliver the highest quality of care to her patients. Her overall philosophy of medicine is one of communication and alliance with her patients to find solutions to their allergic, asthmatic, and immunologic conditions. She has found in her training and practice that what is most important is taking the time to listen to her patients and to educate them about their conditions and the treatment options that exist.
She is extremely excited about moving to Boise and joining The Allergy group. Born in India, she attended medical school at the Kasturba Medical College in Manipal, India, and completed residency training in Internal Medicine at the West Penn Allegheny health systems at Pittsburgh, PA. Additionally, she spent a number of years involved in scientific research at both The University of Michigan and Wayne State University in MI prior to her allergy fellowship. Her specialty training in Allergy/Immunology was fulfilled at the University of South Florida in Tampa.
Dr. Talreja is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. She is also a Fellow of The American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (ACAAI). She has presented at national, as well as international scientific conferences, and have several publications in the most renowned journals in the field of allergy and immunology. Dr. Talreja recently authored a chapter in the book “Asthma: Diagnosis, Comorbidities and Differential Diagnosis” edited by Dr. Richard F. Lockey. She holds an Affiliate Assistant Professor Title with University of South Florida for her continued academic work with them.
What she enjoys most about Allergy/Immunology is the opportunity to treat the entire age spectrum from small children to the elderly and the chance to significantly improve the lives of her patients with a cooperative, patient-based approach.
